Jaime James Noriega (Jim), born on December 15, 1980, in Chicago, faced early challenges within an unstable family environment, leading him into the foster care system. His journey took a positive turn when, on June 10, 1985, he found a loving home in San Antonio and was formally adopted into our family two years later. Demonstrating a remarkable commitment to academic excellence and soccer, Jim’s early years were marked by resilience and determination.

In April of 1994, our family faced significant hardship when our father left. This event prompted Jim to navigate challenges and strive to complete his education despite the difficulties. At the age of 19, he learned that he was soon to become a father. In response, he embraced marriage and steadily expanded his family while working tirelessly in various roles to provide for them. Jim dedicated himself to continuous personal growth—mentally, physically, and spiritually—always placing the needs of his wife and children at the forefront. By 2020, Jim had realized his dream of building a complete and happy family, overcoming the hardships of his earlier years.

Tragedy struck in August of 2021 when Jim contracted COVID-19. Despite a valiant struggle, he ultimately succumbed to the illness on September 28th at the age of 40. His legacy endures through his wife Jordan and their seven children: Javen, Jessenia, Julissa, Jordan, Annabelle, Abigail, and Lorenzo. He is also survived by our mother and four brothers: Sam, Joey, Luis (myself), and Alex.

From 2016 to 2021, Jim and I collaborated on a business venture, providing quality roofing, landscaping, sheetrock, paint, and pesticide spraying services to our clients. Our commitment to excellence and fair pricing garnered satisfaction from many customers. Following Jim’s passing, I founded this business to carry forward the legacy we had jointly established. Jim’s unexpected and tragic departure left an indelible mark on our lives. Remembered as a devoted son, brother, spouse, father, friend, and hardworking family man, his memory will always be cherished.
